Congratulations - you are taking the first step towards food freedom and taking ownership of the health of you and your family!

You are at the right place if you value the heath and wellness of your family, by striving to use your food dollar to purchase nutrient dense food and in return supporting a local family to be sustainable and supporting their passion - to raise the healthiest food while healing the land, one move at a time.  It is simple decisions such as these that will keep you healthy and enable your whole family to enjoy each other for many years to come and keeping health issues at bay.  Buying locally raised food does not only provide you the opportunity to visit the source, build a relationship with your farmer and ensure that the food that enters your body is raised the way you would have raised it yourself, if you were the farmer yourself.  

What is a Buying Club?

A Buying Club is a group of like minded people,  dedicated to making a change to their enviroment, health and family with every bite they take and dollar they spend.  It is a way for you, your neighbors, friends and family to acquire high quality, locally raised food in close proximity to where you live and to build a relationship with the farmer and the products raised. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Every 3 - 4  weeks from March through December, we deliver to a host home.  You place your orders no later than 4 days prior to the delivery via our online order form and meet us at your chosen location at the designated time.  We accept cash or check on delivery.

IS THERE AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE?

No. A flat delivery fee of 30 cents per pound delivery  covers the transportation costs for your convenience. An active status requires 2 orders per year and a current email address. 

HOW DO I JOIN? IT IS AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3!

1.  Review the delivery location options and find the one that is most convenient for you. Click here in order to see  this years choices (If there is none close to you and you are within a 2 hour radius of our farm, why not consider being a host in an effort to make sure you get your order delivered in your driveway)

2. Sign up for our email list below choosing your prefered location(s). Be sure to add eat@hippohollowfarms.com to your address book as email servers tend to let our communication go to your "promotions" folder which might cause you to miss order and specials notifications. 

3. Create an account by clicking the Log In button at the top left of this screen. 

HOW DOES THE HIPPO HOLLOW BUYING CLUB WORK?

1. You will receive a notification 2 weeks before the delivery date that it is time to place your order via email. 

2. You log into your account and place your order via our online store. (There is no minimum order required). 

3. We get your order together here on the farm.

4. You meet us at a host home at a specific date and time. 

5. You bring your cooler, cash or check. 

6. We swap meat from our cooler to yours and you take your products home to enjoy!
